Middle School at Diamond Valley College is an exciting stage where students begin to take greater ownership of their learning. Years 9 and 10 balance core subjects with opportunities for choice, encouraging students to explore their interests while building strong academic foundations.
Core studies include English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and Health and Physical Education. Alongside these, students can choose from a wide range of electives in the Arts, Technology, and Health, allowing them to develop new skills and discover personal passions.
These years also focus on personal growth. Students are encouraged to build independence, organisation, and resilience, while still receiving guidance from dedicated Sub-School Leaders and Year Level Coordinators.
Middle School acts as a bridge to Senior School, helping students make confident and informed decisions about future pathways, whether that be VCE, VCE Vocational Major, or VET programs.
