Performing Arts

The college also offers a dynamic Performing Arts program, providing students with opportunities in both drama and music. This program is an integral part of school life and gives students the chance to develop skills in creativity, communication, and teamwork while building confidence and stage presence.

Key annual events include the Winter Concert, where students present a wide range of vocal and instrumental performances, and a major production that alternates each year between a Drama Performance and a Musical Production. These large-scale events bring together students across year levels, offering them the chance to be involved as actors, singers, dancers, musicians, backstage crew, set designers, or in technical roles such as lighting and sound.

In recent years, audiences have enjoyed the magic of Cinderella and the energy of Annie, both of which showcased the dedication and talent of our students. Equally impressive was a play written and directed by two senior students, which highlighted the originality, leadership, and creativity within our Performing Arts community. These productions demonstrate the wide-ranging talents of our students and provide authentic, hands-on experiences that prepare them for future artistic and personal endeavours.

Designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence, the Performing Arts program nurtures students’ artistic passions while enhancing their academic and personal growth. Whether performing on stage, composing music, or working behind the scenes, students develop transferable skills that enrich their education and leave them with lasting memories of achievement and teamwork.
