I am an experienced school leader with more than 20 years in education, committed to building vibrant, inclusive, and high-achieving school communities. Currently serving as Executive Principal of Diamond Valley College, I lead a diverse program that includes fantastic academic pathways, a High Achievers Program, and a thriving Sports Academy. My leadership journey has included over a decade in the Principal Class, with tenure at Fitzroy Primary School followed by Collingwood College P-12 including Wurun Senior Campus.
I am passionate about creating a positive school culture where Collaboration, Confidence, Curiosity, and Caring underpin every aspect of learning. My focus is on strategic planning, innovative teaching practice, and student wellbeing, ensuring that every young person is supported to grow, belong, and succeed. I value working alongside staff, families, and the wider community, and I believe education thrives when people feel connected, empowered, and inspired.

Shona McEnaney is an experienced educational leader with a demonstrated history of driving positive change across primary, secondary, and tertiary educational settings. As an Assistant Principal at Diamond Valley College for the last four years, Shona has successfully led initiatives aimed at improving teaching, student engagement, and overall school culture. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in building teacher capacity, fostering collaboration and improving student educational outcomes.
Shona’s expertise includes curriculum design, change management, data analysis, and professional learning, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Shona is particularly dedicated to fostering student agency, growth, and confidence in learning, while also supporting staff development to help achieve these goals.
