Camps Program

Camps at Diamond Valley College provide students with various exciting adventures and challenges that support their growth as individuals and enrich their education with cultural, academic and personal development. Camp experiences also foster healthy relationships, build independence and resilience, working in teams and enhance the essential positive teacher-student relationships.

Some of the opportunities for our students include:

  • Year 7 Camp – Phillip Island: An integral part of our transition program to support students transition into secondary school and developing connections with peers.
  • Year 12 Study Camp – Anglesea: Provides an opportunity for students to prepare for the study demands of Year 12.
  • Space Camp (USA): Travel to NASA for a unique STEM-based learning experience focused on space exploration and technology.
  • World Challenge (Years 9-11): Expeditions are designed with a focus towards leadership, resilience, teamwork and conservation. Students have visited Nepal, Cambodia and in 2026 Sri Lanka.
  • Northern Territory & Central Australia Tour (Years 10 &11): Explore the heart of Central Australia with visits to Alice Springs, Uluru, Katherine & Darwin.
  • School for Student Leadership (Year 9) – Leadership Camp and residential program for selected students to attend.

These diverse experiences reflect our commitment to offering students unique opportunities to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and forge lasting friendships outside the classroom.
