The DVC Sports Academy program was first established in 2017 and offers prospective enrolments access to a High-Performance Athlete Training System while participating in a rigorous and comprehensive academic program.

The program is currently available in:

· AFL/AFLW,

· Netball

· Basketball

· Tennis.

The program is incorporated into the athlete’s timetable, with 4 skill-based sessions and 2 strength and conditioning sessions per week. Our athletes have access to highly accredited coaches and industry leading guest speakers, along with access to elite training facilities across Melbourne. Our coaches are passionate about providing our athletes with the opportunity to grow, not only as an athlete but a person. Through mentoring our athletes, the coaches can start to develop a holistic approach to the needs of our athletes.

We are committed to educating our athletes about all aspects associated with high performance training and the industry which supports it. The athletes will have the opportunity to visit high performance training venues and witness what it takes to be an elite athlete.

We look forward to providing a program that engages and enhances the students sporting experience at Diamond Valley College and in the wider community.
