On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May, we saw the College Production of “The Formal”. This contemporary play presented a very funny insight into the lives of a group of teenage girls as they prepared for their school formal. Our VCE Theatre Studies class, led by their teacher Judith Jones, produced, directed and presented a most entertaining performance backed up with clever and imaginative sets and effective lighting. There is no doubt that everyone in the audience enjoyed everything from the hilarious behaviour of the girls and the comical comments of the two MCs to the very moving song in Act 2. Congratulations to all of the students, staff and parents who made up the cast and crew involved. This production highlighted the outstanding performing arts talent we have at Diamond Valley College.
